"Get into the video"
Introduction
Started officially in early 2009, Tadcast was founded by filmmakers for the purpose of helping online video producers earn a living from doing what they love to do, affording them the opportunity to produce higher quality productions in the process. The platform specializes in produce placement advertising within the realm of online video. Tadcast enables brands, agencies, as well as musicians and record labels to promote their products or music efficiently through the increasingly popular medium of online video by acting as intermediary between the mentioned parties and online video producers.
For the focus of this research, Tadcast is noted to offer online video producers access to free licenses and real music for utilization in one’s productions, not to mention the opportunity to make money for the usage and additional promotion of the music used.

How it Works?
Upon signing up to the Tadcast website, producers gain the ability to browse through a vast selection of music on the site's music marketplace. There, producers will be able to preview all songs available for their usage or incorporation into an online video production. A producer is simply required to choose the song he or she wishes to include into his or her next video production inl ine with how well the song is noted to suit the needs of the specific production, or based on the potential revenue a producer would gain from using it, thus promoting the chosen song. A producer will be able to keep track of how much of a song's budget (the maximum amount of money the producer stands to earn from using and advertising the song) remains and the amount of money the musician is willing to pay a producer 'per click' or 'per view'. Producers must then adhere to the guidelines and restrictions placed onto the song as set by its musician composer.
With all that in mind, the producer has left to download the song from Tadcast's website and proceed to incorporate sad song within his or her intended video production. From there, the producer may go about his or her business and upload the finished video to a (or a number of) video sharing website of choice (e.g. Youtube, Vimeo, etc.). Once the video has been uploaded to the Internet, the producer then proceeds to add the URL address to the Tadcast website for tracking, as well as list the song title of the audio used within the video.
If the song chosen by a producer offers payment on a 'Pay Per View' basis, Tadcast's system makes a periodical recording of the number of views obtained by the video and multiplies the number by the amount of money allocated for payment per view, as set by the musician, up until the musician's budget cap reaches $0.00. If however the chosen song addresses payment through a 'Pay Per Click' basis, then Tadcast's system calculates the number of times the online video's unique link (a link given to the producer upon downloading the song intended for use) or URL has been clicked through on the video's URL added to the site. This number is then multiplied with the amount offered for payment by the musician per click up until the budget cap reaches $0.00. (Tadcast, 2011)
Tadcast also allows all online video producers to maintain complete ownership of their uploaded, produced videos, as mentioned under the website's 'Terms of Use' page (II. Agreement to Be Bound):
